See the perimeter through the eyes of an attacker.
The external attack surface is constantly changing: new services, cloud migrations, acquired domains, test environments and vendor systems can appear without entering official inventories. Attack Surface Management identifies these elements and links them to ownership, criticality and responsibility.
What is observed
- domains, subdomains, DNS and certificates;
- IP addresses, services and technologies exposed;
- portals, APIs, development environments and administrative panels;
- publicly accessible cloud storage, repositories and metadata;
- assets no longer used or without a manager;
- surface variations and new exposures.
From discovery to remediation
Results are validated to reduce misattributions. Each asset is associated, when possible, with function, owner and criticality. The exposures are then sorted considering reachability, vulnerability, asset value and probability of abuse.
Output
- consolidated and historical external inventory of variations;
- priority reporting for unknown or risky assets;
- support for the assignment of responsibilities;
- indications of disposal, restriction or safety;
- periodic reports and trend indicators.
The service complements, but does not replace, internal inventory, Vulnerability Management and Penetration Testing. The combination offers broad coverage and deep verification.
